First Post
Hello world!
Every other day, I feel like I encounter a topic or concept that interests me. Yet, I always forget to pursue it since I get wrapped up with school, work, and life in general. I figured that starting up a blog gives me an excuse to report about what I learn, and in turn, I'll spend more time learning about cool stuff 😎.
Right now, this is more of a personal project than something I see myself routinely doing. I'm not much of a writer and I'm already having trouble figuring out what I should say in this initial post (hahaha). However, who knows? Maybe someday I'll improve my writing to the point where blog posts come up every week (my goal for now is every month)!
Anyway, snap back to reality... I just finished coding up this blog using React and I'm currently typing this post from a Markdown document that gets rendered using react-markdown. IMO a pretty clean workflow! That being said, not everything up to this point was simple to set up. In order to get here I had to fix a billion dependency issues that I somehow missed last time I worked on this website. I always breathe a sigh of relief when I escape npm hell...
All in all, I really do hope that this blog comes to fruition and turns into somewhere I can post about anything I want: programming, math, cute cats, etc. I'll make sure to constantly remind myself to write more now that I actually have a blog to write about silly 'n' stupid stuff.
